Texas Martial Arts is operated by James P. Buchanan.
While having studied a variety of martial arts and having received numerous high rankings among those,
Jim has concentrated his efforts in
American Karate
and
Pekiti Tirsia Kali.
Jim is currently only providing instruction in Pekiti Tirsia. We applaud his recent promotion to Associate
Instructor (Guro) in Inosanto Philipino Martial Arts and Jun Fan Gung Fu. His many years of hard, consistent
work have paid off. We also feel very fortunate that he takes the time to provide clear instruction for our
training group while never neglecting to give personalized attention.
In addition to his own class schedule, Jim coordinates and hosts monthly seminars conducted by
Tim Waid
of
Survival Edge Systems and the
Pekiti Tirsia Global Organization
and annual, two-day seminars by Grand Tuhon Leo T. Gaje, Jr. and by world-renowned Dan Inosanto of
Inosanto Academy Of Martial Arts.
It is certainly our pleasure and great fortune to have such a wonderful spectrum of stellar instructors
to both work with and to learn from! It is our hope that you come and take advantage of all the opportunities
